I recently had hot tub services performed by Splash at my Whistler property, resulting in a $5,447 charge that was never quoted, approved, or authorized in advance. At no point did I receive a written estimate or contract outlining the costs. Under BC consumer protection laws, charges over $50 require a written contract or estimate, and exceeding it by more than 10% without reauthorization is unacceptable.
