I have been climbing on/off at the Core for 20+ years. As of 2026, the gym has certainly improved over how it used to be. The boulder cave is frequently updated with new routes and holds. There are better mats now (I stopped climbing here in the 10s for years, because the old mats caused injuries, so yah...). They added an autobelay system and an adjustable overhanging wall.
