RecommendedEverything is available for us old folks. Transportation to almost anywhere. Dining to meet most requirements ad almost instant friends to dine with. Varied selections to suit most everyone. Activities like crafts, art, music and physical training with a qualified instructor. Sooo come on over and take a tour.
We came to Whispering Winds to visit friends, we are staying 5 days. They had been with another retirement community in Bend, Whispering Winds is by far a better retirement community in all aspects. People, Food, living Conditions, Cleanliness, Building conditions, Grounds maintenance. And best of all the people who reside here. Thank You Whispering Winds for an very enjoyable stay.
It is a happy place!! The staffers are "top drawer" - friendly and most helpful! The residents are also very friendly - and kind. Housekeeping, excellent!! 3 meals/day and the food is yummy - the service in the dining room for 3 meals/day is a 5-star rating!!!

I had a great insight last year as a food sales representative dealing with WW. They did not put price first like so many other retirement homes do when purchasing food. They looked at the quality of the products first and then considered the pricing. When it came time for my parents to find a great place to retire to, this place was #1 on my list. We & they are so happy with our choice!
