What a wonderful place to stay! Very clean. Friendly owners. Good location. I highly recommend. Cabins are nicely decorated and very clean. Grounds are very well kept and it’s any easy drive to go anywhere in the black hills. Oh and the kitchens are stocked with anything you would need to prepare food so you don’t have to go out. We stayed in Buck Horn.

Wow!!! If you are traveling to the Black Hills of South Dakota, this is the place to stay!! The owners could not have been more welcoming & attentive. Great fun talking with other travelers in the tavern & around the fire pit . Close to all the great sightseeing the area has to offer. Cabin was well stocked , clean & comfortable. Thank you for a wonderful vacation experience!

This is the 3rd time we have stayed here and each time was always better than the last. We have always stayed in the Wildcat Cottage and have enjoyed our time there each time. We would highly recommend staying there, the owners are just great and always go the extra mile to make your stay the best that they can. I know when we go to the Hills that the only place we we stay will be the Black Elk Resort!

I had never stayed in an RV park before and didn't know what to expect but Black Elk Lodge delivered! We stayed in Aspen cottage and it was perfect for a girls trip - I think officially it sleeps 6 with the sofa bed but each bedroom has a queen bed. Free coffee in the mornings at the tap room and friendly folks around the campfire every night at 8pm (bring s'mores!). Its very quiet at the resort and we slept great each night. Good pans/dishes in the kitchenette and paper towels/toilet paper to get you started. Such a great b... read more

The cabin was nicely appointed, and resort easy to find.||Upon check-in, Lora, one of the owners greeted us and got us settled. She and her husband were very welcoming and kind throughout our three night stay.||The cottage was perfect, comfortable, and had everything we needed.||The property is in a great spot, very close to Mount Rushmore and not too far from Badlands and other attractions.||We highly recommend Black Elk Resort, and will stay here in the future if our travels bring us to the area.
