This is the worst motel in the world. They didn't even give us the room we booked, and the heater was broken in the winter, but they did nothing about it. When we complained, they told us to leave immediately. The owner even threatened us, saying he would make sure we could never come to the June Mountain area again. This is the worst motel in the world, lacking both common sense and basic courtesy.

Hotel advertises free cancellation on website and Hotels.com however there is a $25 service charge to cancel. When I called to inquire, the individual I spoke to on the phone was rude about it.

Fun stay for a super snowy Christmas 2025 The rooms have clearly been updated and were clean and comfortable during our stay. There’s a working hot tub and a sauna, which were both nice bonuses, and some of the artwork in the rooms is done by Danny, the manager, we stayed in the Hemingway room. This is still a modest, no-frills place, it’s worth noting that many of the very negative reviews seem tied to past ownership. Our experience did not reflect those issues, and it’s a solid option if you keep expectations realistic.

The finest 2 star hotel ever! The owners are fantastic and accommodating. Perfect location for a weekend on the hill. Definitely coming back!
