Solid bar good, consistently good. The big thing, for me is, their dubbel they brew. I drink a ton of Belgian dubbels, triples and quads. Finding an American brewed version that's any good is basically impossible. Victory and allagash do an ok triple I'll buy if they're on tap at a bar or restaurant, but nothing I'm going to buy at a liquor store when other options are available. Whiskey hill's dubbel is fantastic though. I don't know why they don't sell it in cans ready to go.
Service was excellent. Drinks were wicked strong. The ricotta and honey was weird and delicious, but the cheese curds were about the same as overcooked A&W.
Bought a West Coast IPA. Either someone doesn’t know what that’s supposed to taste like or they gave me the wrong beer. Secondly, beer was $5.00 A total of $5.65 with 50¢ tax and some mystery 15¢ hospitality tax. Gave the bartender a $10 and only got $4 back. I guess they keep the 35¢ as another mystery fee. No wonder the place was empty. Won’t be back.
Lovely place with great service, food and atmosphere. Grace and Forrest were very welcoming.
