We showed up after hours. And it was difficult locating our cabin
Stayed here with family visiting from the east coast and had a memorable stay in two waterfront cabins! The cabins feel old in a rustic and quaint (not outdated or run down) way. The kitchen and living spaces were cozy, and the bathrooms were recently updated. Everything worked as it should. The views can't be beat, water and mountains can be seen whether you're sitting at the outdoor fire pits or just waking up in bed. Dog friendly as well. Would definitely stay again.
Granted, it's all about the location, but seriously be clearer and the bed situation. There were no beds, just old 1" foam mattresses on cold, hard cement. Seriously! No joke! We had no idea and could have brought our own air mattresses. We paid $147/night for a wooden shed with a beautiful view of the Sound. Will we return? Never!!! I literally grew up vacationing every summer at Whiskey Creek Beach resort since I was 5 yrs old (58 yrs ago). So sad to see this place turn into a cash cow / money machine.
