From the moment I walked into the doll house shop I was greeted by the owner and she was wonderful. The amount of displays Will have your imagination running wild. I loved everything from her displays to her doll houses to her selection. Amazing. Definitely will be back.
I've been wanting to come to this shop for the past 2 1/2 years and I finally made it there on Saturday. I was at the first Westchester County Dollhouse & Miniature show on Saturday, and Whimsies had a few tables set up there. Susan and her husband let me know that the shop was only about 20 minutes away, so my fiance Steve said do you want me to take you there, I said YES!!!! The store is absolutely beautiful. This shop — and Susie, the owner — is a true gem. Embarking on a restoration of my childhood dollhouse and found Whimsies on a…well…whim. Susie is beyond knowledgable, and she was kind and generous with her time in helping me get started. She could’ve been working on her own projects and instead she talked me through all of the things it likely would’ve taken me ages to figure out. And her enthusiasm is infectious! Everything in the shop is just delightful. This is a must-visit for any miniature fan.
Love the store and the owner is very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Huge selection. Parking is horrendous!
