Going to this man to try to straighten my teeth was the worst thing I've could've done in my life! I wish someone would have warned me. I came out worst than before! Everything he promised upon initial start of treatment did not happen, thousands of dollars spent in vain and 4 teeth missing that will never grow back. First red flag & warning: If a dentist tells you that he must remove your teeth to give you straight teeth, run away, do not make same mistake I made out of ignorance.
Dr. Whetten did my husband and 2 daughters' braces 22 years ago. Their teeth are still beautiful, and one daughter still has her permanent retainer in, and has been asked by her present dentist for his name, as the work is excellent. Would highly recommend.
My daughter recently got her braces. I find that Dr Whettten Sr is unfriendly and does not seem to care about his patients and lacks social skills. This place seems to function in a chaotic factory style with several people needed to get the job done. It's like musical chairs. Dr Whetten Jr is friendlier, but has made religious/derogatory comments while talking to other patients and I was deeply offended, especially since my daughter is of Jewish descent. The whole staff is friendly and try to make you as comfortable asa possible and your treatment as painfree as possible. Relaxing office, a real nice guy-and amazing results!!
Dr. Whetten was my Orthodontist and now he is my Son's Orthodontist. I wouldn't have it any other way. He's the best! I highly recommend Dr. Whetten.
