This place is amazing! I highly recommend it,the things I've learned there have changed my life. Love the people who run it as well. Over all wonderful experience!! If you are struggling with addiction and need some coping skills ,look no further. They speak from experience and stand up for you when you need it! I'm going to kiss the classes now that I've graduated!! Check them out
I would *highly* recommend Where We Began to anyone struggling with addiction. The 3 women who operate the program are genuine, compassionate, funny, down to earth and extremely knowledgeable in the nuanced and often scary world of recovery. As the groups are relatively small, I felt like I was an integral part of something special - not just another addict in a rotating door of addicts counting down the days. You will be a 100% positively changed person when you do leave those doors though, I know I was.
The program it's self is a great program if u truly want help recovering from addiction ,the program is not designed for someone with a adult career on first shift 2 of the staff are very helpful and understanding but the one behind the scenes in the office not so much and she gets very petty when she cant bill u for her individual sessions so petty she will rig a test when u know for a fact u are clean and she will say you are not putting u in risk of relapse they don't follow protocol when collecting urine sample for drug ... read more
I just graduated from these wonderful ladies 10 week Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), after completing a 30 day inpatient treatment for addiction. In there, they told us the hard work starts when you get out, they were not wrong. I am so blessed and grateful that I had Amy, Rachel, and Michelle to hold my hand through the transition of inpatient treatment to being out “in the real world”.
