BbQ IS VERY DRY.I SHOOK THE BBQ SAUCE BOTTLE AND SHHOOK IT UP AND IT BLEW UP ON ME LIKE A VALCANO.HE PUT BAKING SODA IN IT TO MAKE IT LAST LONGER! THE SRV WAS LIKE BEING AT A TEEN PARTY. THE STEW WAS WATERED DOWN. TERRIBLE.TWO THUMBS DOWN
Went to Monroe for first time last night. Sorry to say I was very disappointed in the food. The meats tasted like green wood was used to cook them. Both the pork & beef had a bitter smoke taste and no real rub taste. Definitely not seasoned wood. The beef was also tough & stringy. The fried potato salad barely had any sauce in it. The sauces on the table were very watered down and tasted like they had been on tables for a very long time. The service was great, can't complain there. soooooo yummy :) great service. Music most nights. Just a very relaxing place to eat with friends or family. FAmily oriented. And the food is just awesome! They are catering my wedding this month. The place is just amazing!
I love this place. Best stew I've had since my grandmama's. The only thing I don't like is that they are only open on the weekends....but hey, I can wait!
