Definite Yes! I checked out every furniture store in Savannah before I decided to buy from Whelan's. It had the most beautiful designer pieces! You can customize everything to your own taste, unlike the competitor stores. I'm a young buyer and didn't think I would be able to afford designer furniture but the best part about it was that it wasn't much more than the bargain stores but looked a million times better!
Elegant showroom Whelan's is an established furniture store with impeccable good taste. The prices and styles are a bit elaborate for me, but I enjoy perusing there. I would shop here for the Savannah colonial style.

Love their selection. Beautiful pieces. I ended up purchasing a custom couch with "the most durable fabric" from Craftmaster this past July, and it already has 2 holes in it, and the seam on one of the seat cushions is coming apart! NOT happy with this couch, which was around $3,200!!! My husband is military so we don't live in the area any longer, but if we did we would have immediately tried to return this couch since on delivery it had a hole in it. Makes me sick.

Beautiful furniture and accessories. On the hunt for a bed. They have so many beautiful ones it will be hard to choose. Everything in the store is breathtaking.
Don't walk...run!!! If you would like quality furniture that includes, pleasant sales associates (ask for Eloise) and fabulous design assist services (Lewis) and a fabulous local owner (Larry Whelan) this is your place. We have purchased furniture dating back to the previous generation owner "Mr. Whelan". He was a joy back then and his family still represents his values and integrity!
