I wasted a bunch of time today taking my car to a shop getting the wheels pulled off and put on blocks only come down and find out they don't want to touch my wheels because there's a light coating of plasti dip on the wheels from the previous owner. For a shop that claims to repair all sorts of wheels is kind of crazy they don't wanna touch them because of a little plasty dip. He told me how to remove the coating but I don't have time. Had my Ford F-150 wheels refinished. Very well done and really looks good! Just a caution though... Got my truck home and checked the tire air pressures. They were all over-inflated and two were almost 20 psi over-inflated. The correct tire pressures are usually on a placard on the driver’s door jamb. They were also not rebalanced correctly, so I had to get that redone as well. Very happy with my ‘new’ wheels regardless.
I just got.my wheels done yesterday, they look amazing. WheelMan even fixed the scuff marks from curb checking. Thank You
