Lovely apartment with beautiful views. Lovely lounge areas, good kitchen. But it wouldn't suit everyone. The spiral staircase was a bit awkward and slippery for us, and it was hard to see the lower steps coming down as they blended with the floor. I also wasn't keen on the open ensuite right behind the loft bed, and the toilet with no door! I also found the coffee machine didn't work properly - possibly in need of a service. But all worth it for a couple of nights for the views and location.

Wir waren im März 2026 für 2 Nächte in Strahan, Wheelhouse. Die Aussicht vom Haus ist sehr schön. Wir hatten das Haus rechts mit Sicht zur Long Bay. Im Haus hat es kein Geschirrspüler. Die Sauberkeit lässt zu wünschen übrig, alte Socken unter dem Bett, alles staubig und schmudelig. Es hat eine Waschmaschine, jedoch kein Tumbler. Wäscheständer nur draussen. When you open the front door the 180deg view of the Macquarie harbour from the lounge just blows you away.
