I took my 1 1/2 hp pool pump motor to get repaired by them. I told them the last time I had it repaired the charge was $150. So I said just go ahead and fix it again. I got a phone call from them telling me the motor was no good and needed to be replaced. They quoted me a price of $650. I told them not to repair it. Went to pick up my pool pump and they charged me $37.50 for diagnosis and hand me my pool pump in pieces. Bought a pump 200 bucks lasted 5 months took it back they said sorry not our problem. I would give 0 rating if I could.

I had a 220v 5hp motor stop working on my air compressor which is at my home but gets used a lot. I took it to another local shop and because of the size of the motor they recommended Wheeler. Because I work out of state my wife took it to wheeler for diagnosis and repair. After they looked at it I was told it would be more cost effective to purchase a new motoe for $950. I didn't want to spend that so they convinced my wife to purchase a rebuilt one they had for $400. My son installed the motor as I was out of town. Turns o... read more
