I took my 1 1/2 hp pool pump motor to get repaired by them. I told them the last time I had it repaired the charge was $150. So I said just go ahead and fix it again. I got a phone call from them telling me the motor was no good and needed to be replaced. They quoted me a price of $650. I told them not to repair it. Went to pick up my pool pump and they charged me $37.50 for diagnosis and hand me my pool pump in pieces. Bought a pump 200 bucks lasted 5 months took it back they said sorry not our problem. I would give 0 rating if I could.
I had a 220v 5hp motor stop working on my air compressor which is at my home but gets used a lot. I took it to another local shop and because of the size of the motor they recommended Wheeler. Because I work out of state my wife took it to wheeler for diagnosis and repair. After they looked at it I was told it would be more cost effective to purchase a new motoe for $950. These guys are fantastic! Brought in a table saw motor for diagnosis. When the manufacturer agreed to send me a new motor they waived the fee for diagnosis because I gave them the old motor that I had absolutely no use for. And on top of that they went out of their way to show me how to rewire the new motor for 230V operation instead of 115V. Above and beyond as far as I'm concerned!
