Repeat customer – The last 3 times I got a flat tire, Wheel Works was the only place still open in the evening to help me out. 2 out of 3 times, they were able to simply repair the tire so I didn't have to buy a brand new expensive one. Each time they were courteous, knowledgeable & fast! After my 3rd experience with them, I'm now convinced that they deserve to keep me as a repeat customer & I would highly recommend them to all my friends & family when it comes to tires. This is the Dublin, CA WheelWorks.
2.5 hours of waiting and no fix – I purchased my tires from wheel works, so when I got a flat I went back to them for repairs. I had a nail in my tire. I called wheel works on thursday to talk to them about the hole, if they could fix it, and if they had replacement tires in stock. They looked up my record said to come on in. I came in on Saturday, and left my car for an alignment, flat repair, and possible tire replacement. It was 10ish. They said to come back 12-12:30, or they would call if they finished early. We've got 5 cars in a big family, and have purchased almost all of our tire, since 1992, from Howard Tire by Wheelworks. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, prices are competitive, service (for us) has been quality and timely. Couldn't ask for more. Excellent local tire provider. D.Parker San Mateo, CA
Not very Professional – After having my car for over three hours for a simple tire repair, I called them to find out where my car was. They told me that they called to let me know I needed a new tire, but didn't leave a message because they were "busy". They didn't have my tire in stock but suggested another brand. I have spoken to a tire expert and this is not a safe alternative. You should never mix the brands of tires on your car. I used to have such good service here, but they went down hill. find another place!!! – The service was horrible; my car took 3 hours longer than it should have and they did not complete the job with what I asked to be done. THis is the second time I have had problems with this location.
Honest/Experienced Staff: 9! – The staff could have sold me expensive tires, but sold me the tires I needed. I needed the cheapest tires, and that's what they recommended based on my needs. I appreciate that type of service. (Sears tried to sell me expensive tires.) I did have to wait a few hours, but I didn't have a reservation so I guess that's not too bad. I apprecaite the way that the staff explained the results of my allignment results. I also appreciate how the staff explained tips on getting the most out of warranties... read more
