I appreciate the professional customer service at Wheel Works. I happen to live in this neighborhood for the past 15 years and I noticed this business is open almost 7 days a week and full of customers. This place sure is busy for supposedly bad service. I called to set up an appointment for 4 new tires change and 2 days later at 3:30pm my auto was quickly put in service and I was able to pick up my auto at 6pm that evening. Every sales persons with one homophobe exception were extremely nice to me. I will come back again.

One of my tires had a nail in it. So, I went in to have it repaired. They ended up damaging the tire where it needed the repair (they said that when they were preparing the tire they took off too much of the rubber where the sealer would be). They apologized for the inconvenience and gave me a new tire free of charge. On top of that, I didn't have to pay for the repair. It was a little inconvenient because they had to order the tire, but everything turned out great. Now that's customer service for you.

Tires and shocks..... – I have been going to Wheel Works on Winfield in San Jose for the past 10 years. They are always courteous and professional. John their manager is extremely knowledgeable and helpfull in providing me with information regarding tires and shocks that a novice like myself does'nt understand. I had contacted my Toyota dealership regarding pricing on replacement of shocks and found Wheel Works to be considerably less expensive for a far superior shock than the dealership was offering. Ask for John, he will ... read more

Honest Service Real Value, Thats my experience.... – Ran across this review and felt compelled to comment. Never ceases to amaze me that people only write a review when they feel they have been wronged. For what it's worth, I have done business with Steve & Wheel Works for about five years now, for a small independent shop I have been pleased with all aspects of customer service and the detail to attention I have recieved in the service end of it all. My first experience was when I got a new rear tire on my V-Star and that f... read more

DO NOT HAVE YOUR TIRES DONE HERE! – I took my car to the WINFIELD shop (FOR OVER 3 HOURS) to have my tires balanced, rotated, and a wheel alignment after a small fender bender to my left front. After all that AND 3 BRAND NEW TIRES,(one I had recently replaced),I had to take it back AFTER 3 DAYS for "shaking" on the front left.ANOTHER 3 HOURS FOR BALANCING A TIRE THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN DONE THE FIRST TIME.I ALSO WAS CHARGED FOR IT! 2 days later,a tire went flat.No visible damage, but EXTREMELY INCONVENIENT for me (senior citizen... read more

Avoid this place! – Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. I've had 3 experiences with them and used them intitially because of the convenience of their location; definitely NOT worth it. Road hazard warranty on tires? No good if you get a nail in your tire. "It's an outside object that caused the damage and that voids the warranty", was the excuse I got. If the tire has to be replaced they are conveniently "out of stock" on the original and will sell you an expensive mongrel that they're probably trying to deplete from t... read more

not an honest operation – I went there for oil change. It was overpriced. I still accepted the deal and left my car there. But then they changed my air filter etc. and charged me a lot of money. The worse was that I took the parts they took out my car to our usual service place and was told that none of those required a change. These people are not honest and if you are going there for the first time you will for sure be ripped off.

Be Warned – The owner is getting sloppy and greedy. They raised price for all services and never come down even when others are lowing prices. The nightmare is that they are using cheap synthetic mixed oil for cars without notifying car owners. Be careful.
