Was in MKE for the day from Chicago and got a flat right as I was about to head out on a ride on the Oak Leaf Trail...and had left my flat kit back home! So I popped into the shop and they were able to get it taken care of for me right away. I ended up getting a pair of new tires as well - the mechanic gave a great endorsement on some Maxxis Ramblers that just happened to be on clearance and put them on super fast, and also adjusted my back brake while he was at it. this bike shop is like my 2nd home. I try to work on my bikes as much as possible because tbh I want to learn how to work on my own bikes and I can't always afford to have a professional bike mechanic help me out. All the times i have gone to W&S the mechanics have been absolutely awesome. Just today I for the life of me could not get a tire unbeaded from a rim. Friendly staff, a lot to choose from and getting crazy expensive. Biking is becoming more like the auto industry. Buying a bike for our kids is an investment. No longer is it a purchase towards a leisure activity for exercise. Try to pick out something that will last and have the pros tune it up.
One of the best bicycle shops in Milwaukee. Well stocked and super friendly, knowledgeable staff. Has a cafe and super welcoming vibe.
Highly recommend this location. Very clean and organized Went to buy a new bike rack and Taylor made the process smooth and easy. Really helped in the decision-making process.
