Thank you for your wonderful customer service to my friend and I when we visited your bike shop on June 24, 2026. My friend and I had just rode 2300+ miles on Route 66 from LA to Chicago and we finished at your Wheel and Sprocket bike shop in Chicago. You had empty cardboard bike boxes for us to pack our bikes in, allowed us to change in your restroom, and helped us with whatever we needed. I had a bad experience with this shop. They didn’t listen to my description of an issue. This led to them misdiagnosing my issue and suggesting the wrong fix. I came into the shop the because I lost the ability to pedal in the middle of a ride. At the same time I also snapped my chain and had to fix it on the side of the road. I showed a technician the issue by spinning my pedals, which caused the cassette to spin, but the rear wheel wouldn’t move. Great experience so far! My bike’s brakes gave out on me during my commute home today. I called the shop to ask if they would be able to take a look at it even though they were closing soon. James was super kind and very helpful and told me to bring it in. I did, and he again was very helpful, gave me a super reasonable quote, and a time estimate! The whole process was so smooth! Definitely happy I brought it in and looking forward to getting my bike back in working order lol! Highly recommend!
