Sign out front states all day breakfast. Went in about 11am for late breakfast to be advised by very uninterested staff member that breakfast finishes at 10am. Asked about lunch told not until after 11.30am. Poor coffee. Pie or cake only option First and last visit
So very lovely. Just what you would expect for a little country cafe. Beautiful, peaceful country outlook and a simple, delightful menu. Take a few hours to drive there and enjoy. It's like a mini holiday.
Another almost hidden surprise on the Toowoomba-Warwick Highway. The pub out front seems to be always shut on the days I drive this road. The Wheatsheaf Store and Cafe is tucked behind the pub. Very friendly young man behind the counter, excellent coffee and good toastie wrap. The store is attractive with an interesting range of products. Peaceful outdoor tables with a lean-to roof and willow tree for shade. Will definitely stop here again,
Great place to stop for a break on your travels. Quirky and interesting but practical at same time...super friendly service
