I think as a black woman my pain was taken seriously. It’s my first time visiting the ER in Wisconsin and they didn’t disappoint when it comes to treating people of color. My pain was 100/10 after I fell down my stairs and I do t think any of them took me seriously. Very disappointing. SMH
My visit went very well. It was a bit long waiting to be seen, but things were crazy with some of the other patients. I understood and was still treated courteously.

Everybody treat me very nice with respect and really fast. I’m very thankful for everybody who take care of me yesterday even that I was not very conscious today I feel better thanks, God.
