Such a scam. Pulling money from people with low credit just to get more money. A 400 deposit is outrageous. They know people need electricity so they obviously use it to their advantage. Thieves...
Moved here from Oklahoma I had no problems at all with the electric co ever in that state. I was told welcome to Kansas and so far Wheatland has made me feel unwelcomed. Wheatland is the biggest joke I have ever been through to start up my electric ever. Being here in Kansas is making me I'll. Thanks Wheatland for nothing.
This company is a joke. Leaving residents with out power for multiple days and only "looking" at the problem. Not fixing it.
I was told during an outage lasting over 24 hours and running, while my infant son is sweating all night, that two downed lines directly behind and in front of my house are not the reason we don't have power, while everyone around us does. The wheatland crew was here 3 times today and were within 45 yards of the clearly visible lines. One neighbor who had power lines laying across his roof was told that his power should already be working, and they have no idea what the problem is!
