Very Disappointing. My appointment was declined stating I am not a active patient. Do they expect everyone to have a permanent illness to visit a GP. I agree if there was no appointments available but in this case the appointment is available but cannot booked by returning patients. I wonder if it is a health network or a retail shop.
I've repeatedly asked for a copy of my medical records & reception have asked the practice manager who has repeatedly said NO without any reason. I've asked several times to speak to the practice manager & been told they don't wish to discuss this with me. I was also told the ONLY way my medical records would leave the practice was for me to provide a medical practice to send them to after paying their fees. My older mum has been going to wheatbelt medical for a few years with a great DR. Unfortunately the appointment times have blown out of the time frame as the dr works part time and that she has needed medication so she asked to transfer her records to another doctor so she can have a back up when she can't get into her Dr at wheatbelt medical. I have been using Wheatbelt Health Network for more than 3 years. Service from admin and GP staff is good, only had one negative experience but it just switched GPs. I can usually get an appointment easily online or over the phone from the friendly admin staff. Modern General Practice. Wait times are usually not too long.
Receptionist and nurse were great. Saw dr NB the first time and barely any help, waste of money and time, went straight from dr to emergency and got help. then 2nd visit was dr BK and I have never met a ruder uncaring, arrogant unhelpful doctor ever, no help at all.
