Food was good. Place was very clean and nice. But I didn’t like how slow the service was. And how on parties of 5 (“large party”) they automatically put a 20% tip on the bill. Was gonna do more since the waitress was apologetic about everything and was polite. But it is what it is.
My family has been here a countless number of times, and it has never once disappointed. I can’t count the amount of birthdays we’ve celebrated here! Our favorite dishes have to be the eggplant fries and build your own pizza. As a vegan family it’s great to have so many options available to us. Every single thing about our experience is always exceptional. It’s one of our two favorite restaurants for sure. Can’t wait till we go back again!

Our lunch today and a few weeks ago on the Wheat Penny outdoor patio was outstanding. We enjoyed/shared the Chicken Parmesan and Philly Steak sandwiches, both of which were delicious! The focaccia sandwich with chicken breast and the Philly steak sandwich with tender roasted pork on ciabatta bread, were uniquely crafted sandwiches! We stopped in for a birthday dessert and we were not disappointed! Pictured here is the gluten free carrot cake and gluten free blueberry cobbler. Both so delicious! The bar staff even lit a candle and the whole bar sang to me. It was a memorable experience!
