I really wanted to like Wheat Montana, but this sandwich was a pretty rough experience. For over $13 I expected something more than what looked like a sandwich assembled during a budget-cutting meeting. There was hardly any meat or bacon, the cheese didn’t even cover the bread, and the whole thing felt like it had a markup somewhere around “luxury real estate” levels compared to the actual ingredients involved. Our social group meets here weekly. You can have a cup of coffee, or a whole lunch with sandwich, pickle, and chips, rounded off by a creative choice of pastries, all at reasonable prices. The wait staff is super friendly.
Excellent for breakfast or lunch. Maybe dinner hours? Not sure
The food was amazing and it felt so good to sit down to eat without screaming children everywhere.
