Service is poor. Bread stale. Have been buying challah bread here for many years/decades. Always looked forward to it's warm, fresh-from-oven pastry like texture. For the past dozen times the challah they tell me to take from the rack is hard dry and stale, NOT "FRESH". Our whole family is asking "what happened to the bread?" So, multiple palates have noticed a definite degradation in quality.
This is an amazing place for some fresh bread, bagel, bagel sandwiches, and cookies. They are fresh, delicious, and served fresh. My only recommendation is about the space. It is very tight. A few customers in the place, and its already crowded.
Bought $60 in begal’s but was only allowed to take 4 - 1 cent plastic forks, not the 6 that I needed.
I went on a Sunday and as expected, the place was jammed but it’s also very narrow that it was uncomfortable to stand in for a while. I always get flat bagel but this location would not fill it and I noticed thinner than other locations so probably that’s why! Nonetheless, it’s not what I wanted and will definitely go to other locations where they’d serve it
