If you want to buy a vehicle with the best after sale service possible you cannot go past David Jones Motors. I purchase new from this company in 2020. Recently I found that I had a major issue with my Nissan which was still under warranty. Tylar and the team at David Jones Motors went above and beyond to get this issue sorted. If you own a Nissan in Whanganui and think it's a good idea to take your vehicle to David Jones Motors, please re-think your options. You will regret this decision for a long time. My parents were quoted an expensive price for second hand part. But agreed to the work done. Upon completion of work @ the agreed price and was completely PAID FOR.. David Jones then decided we needed to pay an extra payment because someone got it wrong. In NZ if you are quoted a price, get work done/ pay for quoted price.. Then you cant send them... read more
A very disappointing experience. Robbing people is never good for business. Charging $81.84+gst x4 for 4litres of gearbox fluid for a car that only takes 1.7 litres is just the beginning. Never again, nope nope nope. The guy when I went in there obviously not accepting their ridiculous quote of nearly 3k was outright rude and not happy I decided to just do it myself. Got my brake pads but nothing said about the gearbox oil or the washer for the filler hole. Not everyone is clueless about cars, just saying.
