In August of 2023 I experienced a major electrical fire. We used Whalen 7 years ago when we had a small fire and were very happy then with the people and services provided. We used them again recently for water damage from a broken hot water tank. Once again, the cleanup and resoration folks were really good, the work was done on time and at the cost quoted. Whalen worked with our insurance company to help us file the necessary claims. Last September, during a torrential rainfall, we got 6 inches of water in our newly renovated basement. We were on vacation at the time and our property manager went by to check the house on Sunday afternoon. Once he discovered the water, he called Whalen Restoration and they came out within two hours of receiving his call. Their prompt actions saved our millwork, sheetrock, furniture and flooring. They pumped out the water and dried out the basement over a weeks timeframe. I would highly recommend Whalen Restoration.
This company is awful. Make sure to get everything in writing before any work begins. Owner is incredibly rude. Response to Lisa: Yes you have done work on my home, why would I have posted in the first place? This is just an embodiment of this company never taking any accountability for themselves, hence the "get everything in writing" comment.
