We are from Maryland and live in Chapel Hill And when when we go to the beach we always get steamed crabs at Whalebone! Everything is fresh and tasty.
We’re from Maryland and we come to the outer banks every year. This was the first time we stopped in at whalebone. 1000% would come again and will probably add this to our list of must do’s on the annual trip. It’s hard to match MD blue crabs but these guys did it. Their house blend JO is on point and the crabs were meaty. I talked to a guy who said it’s him and his dad who go out and catch the crabs every morning. We love supporting the local food scene down here so that was a bonus.
