Barry & Pat are wonderful hosts. They constantly check to see if you need anything. The motel is clean and has everything you need for a beach vacation. A nice restaurant is within steps of our room. The beach is right across the street. We enjoyed sitting outside to watch the waves and listening to the ocean. The beach is not congested at all. You will find fancier hotels but will never feel so welcome.
We love this dog friendly motel. Owners, Patricia and Barry are the best! They are super nice people and always go out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. If you appreciate a modest, clean older motel you'll love it here too. We especially enjoy having the ability to cook and having access to refrigerator/freezer in the effeciency or cottages. Awesome, Patricia and Barry are wonderful host. We stayed in room 3, it was clean, bright and cheerful. Our dog was made as welcome as we were. Barry officiated as my husband Danny and I renewed our wedding vows. Patricia took pictures. We came as strangers but left feeling we have new family friends. This is now our home away from home. These rooms were super clean! We had a full kitchen and 2 queen beds, and are very reasonably priced. We stayed a few nights in October, and had a blast. The hotel is right across the road from the beach. It was very quiet and private. We were there only ones on the beach most of the time. There owners are super nice and made sure we had everything we needed. They have a cute little patio on the side of the property with tables and chairs, a grill, and fire pit. Such an amazing stay. Things got messed up with closing in our new home so my husband and myself had to stay at a hotel with our two dogs and a toddler. Not only were they accommodating but so friendly! Even offered for us to use the beach supplies when in the area and if we aren’t staying!
