An absolutely fantastic experience! The crew were professional and friendly, and there was a wildlife/whale expert onboard who shared fascinating information about the whales and their behaviour. They even showed an interesting short film whilst on board. We were lucky enough to spot humpback whales, and the team made sure everyone on board knew where to look and had plenty of time to get a good view. We enjoyed it very much. We arrived spontaneously and they were able to book us in( would not recommend if you do not have the time to take a guess). It was a nice long boat tour, detailed information about the environment and animals. Saw a humpback whale within ten minutes of the boat tour
We had such an amazing experience with Whale Watch Kaikoura. Our flight into Christchurch was unfortunately delayed, which meant our party of 3 would not able to make it for the 1:15pm sailing as planned. We called in, and your team most graciously allowed us to move to the 7:45am slot the next day. Thank you again for the flexibility! We had a fantastic time on our trip on 22nd September! All the staff in the office and on the boat were very friendly. The commentary provided was very interesting and informative. We were extremely lucky to have around half an hour viewing a very acrobatic humpback whale up close and also some dusky dolphins! It was an incredible experience and it was great that the team gave us so much viewing time.
