We chose this restaurant specifically for their Land and Sea dish, a combination of lobster and prime rib. Unfortunately, despite arriving on the last Saturday of the season, we were disappointed to learn that they were out of both lobster and prime rib. It's perplexing that they didn't have a sign or warning for customers, especially given the popularity of the dish and the fact that it was the end of the season. Best fish & Chips!! Everything we ate was fantastic. Great Staff, Food & Service! We came back twice during our 4 day stay.
A place we have driven by for years and had never tried. The positives were the service and the chicken sandwich. The haddock chowder was more of a potato chowder with the potatoes not fully cooked through. The fish and chips had a very greasy crust and when cooled, lost its crunch but unfortunately, retained all the oil. The cole slaw was tasteless. The chips were actually very good. Our server was excellent.
Awesome food and amazing staff! Every server/bartender that we've ever had here has been the best! This is not your average pub food. The flatbread pizza is probably the best I've ever had and the wings are phenomenal. We always have a great time here!
