The breakfast was fantastic. The wife and I split the CA Benedict and a short stack. It was plenty of food for two. Our server said they make their own hollandaise sauce use no seed-based oils (ex fryer) and only real butter. All the food was excellent. The potatoes were seasoned with fresh herbs cooked on the grill (not fryer) and very buttery. Come in and enjoy this wonderful restaurant and food. You won’t be disappointed.
Holy cow, what a great find! Located on the main drive to Aptos Village, The Whaler's Tavern (formerly called Whale City) is easy to miss. I found it strolling by one day and saw reasonable lunch specials and wondered why I hadn't noticed it before. I ordered the calamari Lunch Special and it knocked my socks offs. So good and fresh. Great omelette and fresh juice, came quick
kinda weirded out how everyone seems to like it but I think it was a total waste of time, I really dont get the hype, why would anyone come back here again?
