I had my daughter back in May of 2025. That was the worst experience of my life. Doctors always seem in a rush. Never addressed my concerns. I don't know how many times I need to go over my concerns and symptoms just for them to be brushed off. If you have PCOS don't bother. All they care about is your cycle. They don't care if you feel like crap due to the symptoms. Asking multiple times to change to something else that could help both symptoms and your cycle. Just to be removed from everything and having to do your own research. I will never return to any if these facilities.
I was at the hospital overnight Monday into Tuesday for ruptured cyst. I was supposed to be here for at 7:05 for a full bladder ultrasound regarding other issues. Woke up at 6 am to be there on time. Got there a little before 7. Already had checked in online as the receptionists confirmed. Waited another 30 minutes with a full bladder. Awful service. My mom was hemorrhaging and needed a prescription refill and they promised twice to send it to the pharmacy, and never did.
I am writing this review to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the services provided by UPMC Magee-Womens Specialty Services in Altoona, Pennsylvania. The office's management and support staff have demonstrated a pattern of unprofessional behavior and poor scheduling practices. On two separate occasions, appointments for my daughter were cancelled with only a few hours' notice. In one instance, the office called a wrong number.
