I had an amazing experience in OP for emergency c-section to remove my stillborn. The staff were almost in tears and telling me how sorry they were. Even asking if they could touch me on the arm or stuff like that. And the day staff in recovery were exceptional (Unit 45) especially Shandra. She is unreal amazing as a nurse and made my postop experience almost seem enjoyable. July 29, 2026 at 4:30 am I rushed my husband to the hospital in Wetaskiwin. His tongue was swollen and he was in a lot of pain. We were only 17 kilometres away. By the time I got him there, the pain was worse and he was having great difficulty to speak and swallow. I dropped my husband off at the front entrance and quickly parked the car. One of the best hospitals I have been to in a long time! They are friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, fast, tests are quick, seen by doctors fast, great with kids, and parking is only $3 (pay when you leave). 100/10 Exceeded all my expectations. They are my new go to!
Came to visit my friend and the nurse that came to give him his pain medication and blood thinner medication and he had to refuse it 3 times. I’m simply appalled at the fact she couldn’t seem the listen to one request of medication refusal. Her name is journey in ward 33.
