Spent 4 hrs.in ER because of pain and severe swelling from a sprained knee. Draining the large Baker's cyst would have helped but instead they gave me a requisition to have it done and a prescription for pain killers. My family Dr. has done this 5 minute procedure but instead I have to suffer for 3 days before I can get it done. Also, what's with all the indigenous signage in the hospital? This shows no respect to all the other ethnic groups . The indigenous know English. Stop catering to the far left .
It is more than a little surreal to write such a review for a hospital, but here we are. I went in for a colonoscopy and each and every staff that I interacted with was incredibly supportive, brimming with information, and good humour. Special note to Vanessa in Day Surgery, who made me laugh more than once and really relaxed me beforehand. Not saying I would rush to do another colonoscopy, but heck yeah if I had to do another it would be at the Wetaskiwin Hospital. p.s. Came in alittle late and the ladies were nice enough to squeeze me in. Leah in labs was super friendly. Thanks you girls!
The Drs nurses and staff were so awesome. Surgery was great. Especially the aftercare. Coming from Sherwood park it was definitely worth the drive. Food in room was also good. Thank you to all the ppl who took care of me.
