Today I laid down my last cat autumn, and my heart was so broken. I've been using this vet for like 30 years 23 cats 11 dogs, and all have been laid to rest. I was crying like a baby, and the vet, staff are so caring compassionate , doing her paw prints staying with her till the end, made the episode easier to handle. I have one dog left, and then no more animals the grief losing my kids is so great at 71. Best vet in alberta tho. Thank you

A few weeks ago, I had to take my cat, Shadow, in for an emergency and my usual vet was closed so I called Wetaskiwin Animal Clinic. The receptionist was super kind and accommodating. She was able to sneak Shadow in over the lunch break. Unfortunately he ultimately had to be put down, but the level of care and compassion he received from all the staff was second to none. Dynelle, (sorry if I spelled it wrong) grooms our inside dogs. The dogs start acting very boujie and confident when they are done lol. Satisfied puppers, that belong to my satisfied ladies. Also, a couple of the ladies handled intake for a stray dog that I had found freezing, possibly to death. Another time too, when I was workikg and found a stray dog run over. I know it is very expensive to surrender a dog under any circumstance, but they were awesome enough to take responsibility in both situations.
