This place sucks! I’d go so far as to say they’re scammers! THEY BILL AS REFOCUS EYE CARE. They are no longer called Westwood ophthalmology and they no longer bill as Westwood ophthalmology either. Even if your insurance says Westwood Ophthalmology is in network, they bill under a different name and different Tax ID that could be OON and they won’t tell you! Then when speaking with the new billing company they say there’s nothing they can do and I have to pay out of network costs. I’ll be filing a grievance directly to UHC. ... read more
The front stuff is a joke. I called multiple times and left plenty of messages and no one has gotten back so I will have to go elsewhere after 20 years. Shame, they are destroying their business one patient at a time.
Went there 3 years ago and had a fine experience with my son. However, today (2025) I have called multiple times now for 3 days and left a message and cant seem to get anyone on a phone to make an appointment for something urgent. Very strange.
Extremely rude weekend receptionist. Went to pick up contacts on a Saturday (which I have done in the past before), and the woman working the front desk that morning was extremely rude, not to mention speaking with a mouth full of food. Not a good face for or representation of Westwood Opthamology whatsoever. Very disappointing.
I’ve been going to Dr Kaiden for several years , he retired the practice is not the same , I saw Dr . Lee , he said he wanted to see me in four months , the front desk argued with me , we don’t have anything until Feb which was 7 months , I asked again I was told that’s all we can do and you’ll have to see another Dr . The practice went down hill I’m not going back again after being a patient for 20 years . Miss you Dr. Kaiden , Virginia Di Grazia
