I'm a contractor and I was hired to do touch-up services for them on a big job. This year the owner Ken Ewell has retired and he doesn't have the ethos to pay me all that I'm owed, which is $3700.00. It's so frustrating trying to get paid by these types of people. Would this be theft of services? I'll investigate the possibility of pressing charges because it is like they stole $3700.00. Not a small crime. They eventually paid most of it. I forgave them the final $800.00 and something. This has been a bad experience.
Terrible place to work. The owner hires ex-cons (with child molestation/ pornography) to employ and then has them deliver cabinets to schools. The management is also under investigation by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission for violating federal laws about hiring and firing practices. Even the vendors hate the place.
