Today started my mother’s rehabilitation journey at this facility. Upon arriving at the facility was a little uneasy but the staff quickly fixed ALL of my major concerns. I would like to specifically thank the nurse Mary who was on duty and answered all my questions, the 2 nurse aides Mekiya and Erica who worked diligently together to make my mother comfortable and Sara the Med Tech who reassured me that my mother was ok and to go home and get some rest!
As with most other reviews, this place is one of the worst places you can put your family members or loved ones. We decided to put my mom here for rehab (the only good thing about westwood). The first day, they finally brought breakfast in around 1015, that had been in someone else's room, had used gloves on it, and the director was conveniently in meetings all day to talk to concerned family members, finally meeting with us 6 hours after this had happened. medications never given at the same times, Blood sugar records not r... read more
This place is horrible!! We took our mother there for rehabilitation after a mild stroke. We walked away for 15 minutes only to see my mom on the floor sitting in her own urine. The staff standing around her saying they can't get her up. I had to call 911 to help me get my mom in a wheelchair and outta of there. They are understaffed and the nurse was very rude and unprofessional. The smell of the facility was awful. Please do not take your family members to this place. It's horrific
After I give it a chance it was a great place to be..the CNas and nurses are so good .keosha really made me comfortable and after that the staff felt like family..cause when I first got here
