What ever you do don't let WestVet on Chinden Blvd. euthanize your pet if you are wanting their ashes back. Despite telling the attending vet AND the young woman that came in later to do some paper work that I wanted my cat's ashes back and being assured that I would be getting them back from the company they use, that was not the case. The doctor billed me for a Private Cremation. However, someone else at WestVet sent my cat off with the directions that he be put in a Communal Cremation. Simply the best! My yellow lab was vomiting but has always had stomach issues but when he refused to move called my vet. Luckily he was on vacation because no regular vet has facilities to handle Buddy's problem. Drove 75 miles thru mtns. to take him to Westvets. He had a bleeding tumor size of golf ball on his adrenal gland & lost 75% of his blood volume (4 litres). From emergency room to radiology to surgery to ICU they were in CONSTANT contact w/me making certain I understood issues. I did not get this much attentio... read more
