Highland Management is, without a doubt, one of the worst property management companies I’ve ever dealt with. After living at Westside for over three years, I can confidently say they do not care about their tenants. Rent prices continue to skyrocket, yet they make zero effort to improve the apartments or create a better living experience. Let me first say, that this was a good 1st apartment. I was a single woman living on my own for the first time. I lived in the 97 building for 2 years and generally had no issues. (With a few exceptions) Safety/Security: The 97 building was pretty low-key. The other buildings were not as quiet. I don’t know exactly what it was like but law enforcement was there pretty often. Been living here for over 6years now and I really like it here especially now with the new management. The manager Tracy really listens to any complaints you have and make sure that it’s fixed in a timely manner. The staff is great and will work with you under any circumstance. I have recommended this place to some of my friends who ended up moving here too…
DO NOT RENT HERE!!!! You will never be able to do laundry as the office closes early every single day and you can only fill laundry cards by going to the office. Office staff is rude, inconsiderate, and incompetent. Even giving our notice has been a complete and udder hassle. Bugs everywhere, screaming kids run through the halls and play knock knock ditch regularly on apartment doors. Building is covered in mold, gym equipment is always broken, building smells HORRIBLY.
