My Dad was there for over a month from November 2024 to January 2025. They did heart surgery on him, then they intubated to many times, then 3 more surgeries. Left him botched up and speechless from a trachestomy and a bad stomach tube surgery. He was then sent to Kindred Ftl, then to Broward Health MC downtown, then to Kindred Hollywood where his body gave out in Febuary 2025. Did Stephanie employees are incredibly professional, compassionate and endearing. The maintenance of the hospital however, is sorely lacking. There was dried blood on the floor in one of the emergency rooms. In my room upstairs there was no hot water. The shower would not drain and there was no shower curtain keeping the bathroom from being flooded and causing a slippery and dangerous condition. This hospital is awesome! The staff actually cares about the patients, and they enjoy their jobs. The doctors are prompt and very dedicated to finding the source of the problems in a timely manner. I love this hospital
It breaks my heart that this hospital has such a low rating. I highly, highly recommend this place. It is the best hospital experiences my family and I had ever have. When my father, Gejza, suddenly fell ill and was showing us alarming symptoms while we were on vacation; we drove him to this hospital to the emergency room to receive a cat scan; and couldn't have been more satisfied with the visit.
