Upon arrival in Lobby: Very Clean, Gracious and Friendly. Believe it or not , the food was good. All in all , I had a pleasant experience, I was very comfortable and everyone made sure of it.
came into ER and was admitted. ER was efficient and attentive. was admitted. asked for extra pillows. nurse response. “you already have pillows!”. basic ask. procedure was moved to next day yet NPO not removed. still waiting for a text from doctor. if it was moved to 12-15 hrs later would it not make sense to empower staff to make decisions rather than wait for a doctor to text.
My Dad was there for over a month from November 2024 to January 2025. They did heart surgery on him, then they intubated to many times, then 3 more surgeries. Left him botched up and speechless from a trachestomy and a bad stomach tube surgery. He was then sent to Kindred Ftl, then to Broward Health MC downtown, then to Kindred Hollywood where his body gave out in Febuary 2025. Did Stephanie employees are incredibly professional, compassionate and endearing. The maintenance of the hospital however, is sorely lacking. There was dried blood on the floor in one of the emergency rooms. In my room upstairs there was no hot water. The shower would not drain and there was no shower curtain keeping the bathroom from being flooded and causing a slippery and dangerous condition.
