I had a deeply distressing experience at Dr. Rafael Gavilanes’ office. Although it was his son who performed my procedure, the sedation they used on me did not work at all. I was alert and felt every single thing during the extraction. He also did not administer enough local anesthesia, which made the entire experience unbearable. Despite explaining my pain and anxiety, I was told to “cooperate” and let him finish because there were other patients waiting.
