Management responded! Lots of words - no action - no refund. No battery (not that, at this point I would trust a battery that this business would provide) - no attempt to address my core complaint of being left with the impression that I have been cheated. I will stick to purely the facts of what took place. You decide if they’re good or bad. I received my final communication and invoice from west side joes on 10/24/2025 I dropped my bike off on 7/15/2025. An entire 3 months and 9 days prior. I picked up my bike on October the 15th. That’s 3 entire months they had my bike. When I dropped it off they asked if I had any timetable and I said no super rush but I’d like it in a reasonable amount of time. It has been a year since I bought my bike there and was charged for half a battery - which I have never received. I am very curious about the high rating for this business. I have returned to the shop asking about the status of the battery order. I have gotten no satisfactory reply- nor have I gotten a battery, (nor a refund). In reexamining the receipt I am seeing something that sure looks like she charged me twice for the same service. I have submitted a complaint through the Better Business Bureau. Great shop had an amazing experience today with them. Vivi was great and on point ! Definitely recommend them to my peeps and family!
I busted some wheel spokes and took my e-bike to Westside because it was the closest repair shop in the Lectric network. This was 9/2 and I only got my bike back yesterday, 10/14. Vivee, the owner, asked me to pay by Zelle, which I did out of respect for a small business. Unfortunately, this was an imaginably horrible experience. (1) it took six weeks to get my bike back.
