Westside Wheaton assessed my son and told us he should have speech twice weekly, OT and Counseling as he was severely speech delayed. He is almost 5 and had his first ear infection last month where at his dr. they saw fluid on both of his inner ears. We made an appt, with an ENT and quickly learned our son was hearing at about 15% of what he should have been, and that this didn't look to be a new problem, but rather one he's has since birth. WestSide in Frankfort is not the best place for therapy. My son has been going there for several years and it has gotten progressively worse. The therapists are overworked and have become understandably tired and are not as engaging or energetic as they once were. My son has gotten bored with the same old, same old and has begun to say so. Now, instead of upping their game, they want to have a huge meeting to discuss his behavior. I've asked them several times to have more fun in his sessions and they refuse.
