Recently got something fixed on my husband’s car. We didn’t have any options at the time but we recieved the invoice at the end (which I sent around to a few mechanics) and they advised me that we were totally ripped off. Job could’ve been done for less than half of what we were charged. To scan for diagnostics was $154, which we signed for at the beginning not knowing that this is how much they charge to use a tool that takes a few minutes. I went to them with air bag sign on. They went to charged me 150 plus for the diagonistic only without prior letting me know the price. When i quired about the price, they tried to explained they r the best in business. If i had known 150 just for diagonistic, i would hve not go ahead with that. I feel like they r dishonest and taking advantage of people's problem. I went to my regular mechanic, he didnt charged me for diagonistic and quote me cheaper than them to fix it.
I have had a couple of my cars at their workshop and I can't fault them. Honest service and modest pricing and can tell they genuinely care. Always keeping me updated with how all the work is going and giving alternatives if something potentially pricey is needed. I know my cars are being handled with care when I drop them off and I will continue to support this local business. High recommend.
I was ripped off by this business ! They charged me $900 just to install a $350 alternator after telling me it would cost under $900 They did not supply the correct alternator and keep my car on there site for 4 days while they fooled around trying to fit the incorrect alternator They would not refund any money at all after l went to see them I would recommend using a competant auto electrician that knows how to treat a customer and wont ip you off
