I have been using Phillips Westside 66 since I came to Lawrence in 1996. Richard Haig and his service station employees have been a God send, consistently providing me with superb service in all respects. Rich is one of those dying breed, who believe that his word, honesty, and integrity are paramount. From my experience over the last 25 years, this is a gas station that you can rely upon to give you trustworthy and competent service.

I recently had a problem with my 2006 Hyundai Sonata. The 2005-2007 models had a recall on the "Stop Lamp Switch", and I got an error code (via O'Reilly Auto Parts) that corresponded to that same problem. Rich and the guys at Westside 66 have been taking care of my parents cars and my cars for over a decade now, but since this was part of a recall, I took my car to the Hyundai dealership here in town. Rich has been fixing my cars for years. He stands behind the work. the staff is quick and friendly. The repairs are done on time and at a fair cost. I have never had any problems with the work done. He just warranty replaced a starter for my truck. The starter was a bad part, the work was great and quick. I will continue to give Rich my repair work.

I needed to have a tire fixed, they had it in and out in no time. Very friendly and big military supporters. I would absolutely recommend them!

Called on Friday afternoon. Said the earliest they could do a minor repair was Thursday. Not very helpful to a traveler from out of state.

I wrote had an over the top service experience from Rich @ Westside 66 earlier this year. It's month's later and as it turns out the replacement alternator was defective, however, the car needs service in the Chicago area, obviously far away from Lawrence, Kansas. I contacted Rich again, to see if there is a warranty. He looks into it and calls back immediately to advise me what to next with all the appropriate details. Wow!! Thank you Westside 66. My out of state college age daughter needed help with her Honda Civic. We did'nt know where to take her car for honest, reliable,fair, & reasonable service. A friend recommended Rich @ Westside 66. This was the best overall auto repair experience I've had in over 30 years. Rich and his team at Westside 66, they treated her with respect & care like no other. My sister lives here and I was visiting during the snow storm of Cmas 2009.I had something leaking from my car after the ice/snow. My sister told me to go here. They gave me 5 star service and looked everything over and even offered to have me park my car inside their garage to thaw out. NEVER have I been to a service station where they are so helpful and friendly. WOW! Wish I could move this place to Texas! Thanks to Richard and everyone else at Phillips 66. .
