I have been with Westpac for over 20 years, and it was very disappointing recently to see how their operations and customer service handle a bank deposit into an account which has been closed. It states on their site if you pay someone money from your account into an account that has been closed, the money will bounce back into your account within 48 hours, however the money did not return to my account.
