I rarely visit my local branch, but if I do, its for a reason. Often only 1 teller will be there to assist, and considerable wait periods. Visited to change my email address, a quick process, it wouldnt update on line. Sharon whom serviced me was rude, sarcastic, and needs considerable training in how to treat customers. I've experienced this teller before, some many months ago with the same very poor experience. (She doesnt update profiles. We dont do that in branch). Only one teller , huge wait every time. Not hard to open another teller. Shouldn’t be cutting staff like this when the company makes so much off us each year.
Well were do l start. Entered the 1st time and was ignored. Ok, l guess the staff was flat out with 4 or so customers.?? I left to return again 1.5 hrs. In front of the queue and then ignored again. I guess let's skip the order standing in line and serve the man behind me. I guess you don't want the deposit of money. Wow, dealing with the bank for 25 years. Disappointing.....
No greeters at the front door. Waited in a queue 10 people to see the one and only teller. I need to be told I have to see someone at the front area. What a waste of 15 minutes. Then they ask, why are you withdrawing all that money from your account? We can help you with that. Haha no chance.
Too many chiefs! There was about 6 to 8 staff behinds the scenes but sadly only one poor teller with a line out the door. Disgraceful Westpac!
