Had a disappointing attempt to deposit a couple of hundred $$ of coins which didn't work out. The staff were perfectly pleasant, but unfortunately their instinct was to immediately recommend we go to another branch with an auto coin teller. Efficient yes, but we are customers, we were already there, and the first instinct should be to help, not defer. Ten minutes was all it would have taken - the bank was not busy. Food for thought for next time maybe - offer help instead of ushering us elsewhere.
By far the best Westpac branch we have ever dealt with. Their manager went out of her way to help me over the phone, and was able to lift a load off my mind.
Despite what the below perennial whinger says, I have received nothing but great service from this branch. Just one look through her review history will tell you what a sour person she is. I pity the staff that have to serve you

I rarely visit my local branch, but if I do, its for a reason. Often only 1 teller will be there to assist, and considerable wait periods. Visited to change my email address, a quick process, it wouldnt update on line. Sharon whom serviced me was rude, sarcastic, and needs considerable training in how to treat customers. I've experienced this teller before, some many months ago with the same very poor experience. (She doesnt update profiles. We dont do that in branch).
