I would not recommend anyone to open accounts with Westpac. The services offered by Commonwealth, ANZ and Nab are far superior to the level of disregard you will receive from Westpac bank.

Unfortunately was a victim of a fraudulent activity which had Westpac suspend my account for security reasons. Thanks to Mel and her patience (being on hold with another department for what felt like many moons which was outside of her control) she was able to resolve my account and bring me back online. Would definitely return with confidence that Mel and her team would sort me out if I were to be locked out again (knock wood).

4 window staff doing nothing yet all I needed was an ID check...and that was too hard. Would have to return in 5 hours. Staff need more training o/w this level of service will be met with a reduction in customers...leading to wide scale redundancies.

Terrible customer service. Less than helpful staff member, over complicating the most basic enquiries. After this experince, we decided to close the account with Westpac all together.
